UAE interest list: privacy notice

Who we are

Achampe Solutions Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (number 16132229), runs Nettam and decides how this information is used. Nettam does not operate in the UAE and has no UAE company or office yet. Contact: [email protected].

What we collect

• Your name and UAE WhatsApp number.
• Whether you are a customer or a shop owner, and your area (Karama, Al Nahda, Rolla or other).
• The language you used, and the date and time you agreed to be contacted.
• The rough country and city of your connection, as reported by our hosting provider Cloudflare. We do not store your IP address.

We do not ask for, and you should never send us, an Emirates ID, a payment card, bank details or an OTP.

Why we use it

Only to tell you, on WhatsApp, when Nettam is ready to open in your area, and, for shop owners, to call you to hear what you would want from a rewards programme. We also count sign-ups by area to decide whether and where to start. We will not send you other marketing, and we never sell or share your details for anyone else's marketing.

Legal basis: your consent, given by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by replying STOP on WhatsApp or emailing us; withdrawing does not affect messages already sent.

Where it is kept

The list is stored in a Cloudflare database. Cloudflare may process it on servers outside the UAE, including in the UK, the EU, the US and India. Only Nettam's directors and the person running the UAE launch can read it, and only for the purposes above.

How long we keep it

Until Nettam opens in the UAE and you have been told, and at most 24 months from when you signed up. If we decide not to launch in the UAE, we delete the list within 30 days of that decision.

Your rights

Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and UK data protection law, you can ask to see the details we hold about you, correct them, delete them, or stop us using them. Email [email protected] from any address and tell us the WhatsApp number you signed up with; we reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or the UAE Data Office.

Changes

If Nettam launches in the UAE, a full UAE privacy notice will replace this one before any account, points or offer is created. We will not use this list for anything new without asking you again.
